Village of Mahayana Buddhism

We moved village of Mahayana Buddhism to "Buduruvagala" from Ella of summer resort.
We went riding three-wheeled motorcycle(tuk-tuk) to Wellawaya.
Buduruvagala means stone statue of Buddha.
Face of Buddha was similar to that of Japan.
Image of Mahayana Buddhism which was carved into the rock wall was like watching people quietly.
This area was the village to settle the mind very quiet.

避暑地のエラから大乗仏教の里「Buduruvagala」に移動しました。
Wellawayaから三輪オートバイ（トゥクトゥク）に乗って行きました。
Buduruvagalaは仏陀の像の石という意味です。
仏さまの顔が日本のそれと似ていました。
岩壁に刻まれた大乗仏教の像はしずかに人々を見ているようでした。
このあたりはとても静かで心落ち着く里でした。
