Could not buy tickets

We was staying in Trincomalee today.
We went to get the reservation of the sleeper of Colombo bound to the railway station.
Before us, A mother and her child got three reserved seats.
So we came back to walk ploddingly rather buy reserved seats.
It was a true story, such deceptively.

今日もトリンコマリーに留まっていました。
鉄道駅までコロンボ行きの寝台車の予約に行きました。
すると、親子が私たちの前に予約席を買って行きました。
それで私たちは予約席が買えなくてとぼとぼと歩いて帰ってきました。
嘘みたいな本当の話です。
