I went to San Miguel de Allende on the day I was not working.
San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful city
where the 18th century old town is preserved.
Many foreigners also live when they want to spend their old age here.
Spring flowers were in full bloom.

私は、出勤日でない日に、
サンミゲル・デ・アジェンデに行ってみました。
サンミゲル・デ・アジェンデは、
１８世紀の古い町並みが保存されている美しい街です。
老後をここで過ごしたいと多くの外国人も住んでいます。

春の花が満開でした。

丸一日かけて、地球の裏側までやってきました。
今日から仕事です。
今日は、初出勤の日です。
こんな老人でも働けるところがあるのです。

A long time overseas escape

I used my passport after a long time.
I am now spending some relaxing time
at the Houston Airport for a transfer.
It may be misunderstood,
but when I leave Japan,
I have a slight sense of tension

久々にパスポートを使っています。
今、ヒューストン空港で次の飛行機の乗り継ぎのために
のんびりしております。
勘違いかもしれませんが、
日本から外に出ると、
少しの緊張感と少しのわくわく感があります。
なにより良いのは、
日本いるとついついくだらないテレビを見て時間を
無駄に使ってしまうことです。
例えば、国会中継なんかね。

（もう、私には、そんなに多くの時間は残っていないと思うのです。）

Recently, I completely forget the kanji.
I will try to stimulate the brain just a little.

私は，久しぶりに辞典を買いました。
最近，漢字をすっかり忘れてしまっています。
少しだけ，大脳を刺激してみようと思います。

値段が少し高いぃ！と思いました。

私はついに本物の老人になりました。
私は「前期高齢者」と呼ばれる人々の仲間入りをさせていただきました。
そして，本日，市役所から介護保険証をいただきました。
それに伴って，私は介護保険料を納税しなければなりません。
