I went to see the stratum in Queretaro city.
At present, there  is  almost no earthquake in Queretaro.
However, there are large faults in the stratum,
In the past, you can see that there was a big earthquake in Queretaro.

ケレタロ市内の地層を見に行きした。
現在では，Querétaroではほとんど地震がありません。
しかし，地層には大きな断層が見られます。
昔，ケレタロでも大きな地震があったのでしょう。

Monarch butterflies fly to the south.

When I was walking in the corridor of my workplace,

 I saw many butterflies flying.

I quickly realized 

that the butterflies were monarchs.

Monarchs came back from North America and Canada.

In fact, their grandmothers  and grandfathers  traveled from Mexico
to North America and Canada, and their grandchildren and great-grandchildren flew back to Mexico.

Congratulations!

They will soon arrive at their home mountains.

私は，職場の廊下で多くの蝶が飛んでいるのを見ました。

そして，それが「オオカバマダラ」であることは

すぐに分かりました。

オオカバマダラが北米やカナダから帰ってきたのです。

実際は，

彼らのお爺さんお婆さんやその前の世代がメキシコを出発して
北米やカナダに到着して夏を過ごし，かれらの孫や曾孫が
ここまで飛んできたのです。

「おめでとう！」

彼らはもうすぐ故郷の山にたどり着くでしょう。

Dia de los Muertos ( Day of the Dead )

There is ”Day of the Dead” on Mexican customary holidays.
This year was November 1st and 2nd.
Similar to Japanese “Obon”.
Similarities include building an altar in the house
and welcoming their deceased,
or going to the grave with their family.
Altar were also made at local school.

メキシコの慣習上の祝日に「死者の日」があります。
今年は，１１月１日と２日でした。
日本の「お盆」に似ています。
それは，家に祭壇を作り亡くなった人を迎えることや
家族で墓参りに行くことなどです。
現地校にも，祭壇が作られていました。

I went to see Javier Servin ceramica

We went to a pottery shop named Javier Servin ceramica.

The surface decoration of each pottery is very small.

And the price is high.

Still it's about half the price sold in Japan.

I also went to a pottery shop named CASHER next door.

I liked the color of the pottery at this store 

and bought a coffee cup.

セルビン焼きの焼き物屋さんに行ってきました。

表面の飾りの模様がすごく小さい。

そして値段が高い。

それでも日本で売られている価格の半額です。

私はとなりにある「CASHER」という名前のお店に行ってみました。

色遣いが気に入り，コーヒーカップを買ってしまいました。

Subí a la Peña de Bernal.

Peña de Bernal can be reached from Queretaro
in about an hour by bus.
Peña de Bernal seems to be a big rock.
It seems difficult to climb to the real top.
However, it takes less than an hour from the beginning
to climb up to the sixth station where many tourists go up.
I was very comfortable at the temporary peak.

ペーニャ・デ・ベルナルはケレタロからバスで１時間くらいです。
ペーニャ・デ・ベルナルは大きな岩なのだそうです。
頂上まで登るのは難しいようですが
多くの観光客がのぼる６合目くらまでは１時間かかりません。
その仮の頂上はとても気持ちがいいです。

Summer vacation is over.

My summer vacation is over.
I spent two weeks in Japan without doing anything special.

I was away from Japan for about half a year.
And what I thought in Japan for the first time in half a year
After all, Japanese food is delicious!
It's cheap!
In addition,
the store clerk's response to customers is excellent at any store.
And as usual, many TV programs are boring.

私の夏休みは終わりました。
私は，日本で特に何をするということもなく2週間を過ごしました。

私は，約半年日本を離れていたのですが，
半年ぶりに日本で生活してみて想ったことは
何といっても，日本の食べ物が美味しい！
そして安い！
加えて，お客に対するお店の方々の接し方が素晴らしい。
そして，相変わらず，多くのＴＶ番組がつまらない。

Teacher day in Mexico

In Mexico, September 15th is Teach Day.
School is closed.
On this day, Many  Mexican children are giving a present to their teachers.
It seems that the teacher of the school is important.
There was  "teach day" in both  India and the Republic of China.
There is no teacher day in Japan.

I went to Dallas.

I went to Dallas and I had something to do.
I thought that Dallas  is a city that is wide,
green and blue sky suits. 
And I thought that the United States was a very rich country.
What surprised me more than anything was the high price of everything.

野暮用でダラスに行きました。
ダラスは，広くて緑豊かで青空がにあう街だと思いました。
そして，アメリカ合州国は，とても豊かな国だと思いました。
何よりも私が驚いたのは，すべてのものの値段が高いことです。


タクシーに乗ったとき
運転手のパキスタン人が
「この国で働けば，豊かになれる」と教えてくれました。
かれは，この国に２０年間住んでいると言っていました。

水道橋にも行ってみました。

Summer time has started

In Mexico,
it is summer time from 2 am on Sunday, April 7th.
As a Mexican newbie,
I decided that my watch was crazy
because I didn't know that summer time had started for a while.
After I heard about summer time on the radio, I checked the net.
So, summer time in Mexico started from this Sunday morning.
My watch still doesn't know about summer time,
but for some reason the smartphone was already firmly in summer time.
Sometimes only I and my watch were left behind.

メキシコ生活初心者の私は、
しばらくサマータイムが始まったことを知らなかったため
時計が狂ったのだと判断してしまいました。
ラジオでサマータイムの話を聞いたのち、ネットで調べてみました。
するとメキシコでサマータイムが今週の日曜日の朝から始まっていました。
私の腕時計は、サマータイムをいまだに知りませんが、なぜか
スマートフォンは、すでにしっかりサマータイムになっていました。
私と私の腕時計だけが時に取り残されていました。

I went to San Miguel de Allende on the day I was not working.
San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful city
where the 18th century old town is preserved.
Many foreigners also live when they want to spend their old age here.
Spring flowers were in full bloom.

私は、出勤日でない日に、
サンミゲル・デ・アジェンデに行ってみました。
サンミゲル・デ・アジェンデは、
１８世紀の古い町並みが保存されている美しい街です。
老後をここで過ごしたいと多くの外国人も住んでいます。

春の花が満開でした。

A long time overseas escape

at the Houston Airport for a transfer.

今、ヒューストン空港で次の飛行機の乗り継ぎのために

GPIF (Government Pension Investment Fund)
operates shares and bonds with the insurance premiums
of the people as resources.
And it may have caused losses exceeding 14 trillion yen
in asset management form October to December 2018.
